Overview
Fundilusa’s factory produces FP propellers of up to fifteen tons in bronze alloy, with diameters up to 5.5 meters. The offer includes Class II, Class I and Class S types, fully CNC machined.
We also cast and machine stainless-steel propellers in the same works, to the same quality system. That means one supplier, one set of approvals and one point of contact for a bronze and a stainless requirement alike, across the most demanding fixed-pitch and controllable-pitch (FPP & CPP) applications.

What is the largest fixed-pitch propeller Fundilusa can cast?
Fundilusa casts and machines monobloc fixed-pitch propellers up to 15 tons finished weight, with diameters up to 5.5 metres. That limit applies to one-piece propellers; blades are produced separately up to 8 tons each.
Which bronze classes are available?
Class II, Class I and Class S. Fundilusa also has capacity for stainless-steel propellers, so a single supplier can cover both bronze and stainless requirements.
Are the propellers fully machined?
Yes. FP propellers are 100% CNC machined. Two robotic cells surface-mill propellers up to 12 tons and 4,600 mm diameter, with a 3.3 m spherical reach per robot, before final grinding, polishing and dynamic balancing.
Can Fundilusa supply for both FPP and CPP systems?
Yes. The monobloc propeller is the finished product for fixed-pitch (FPP) installations, and Fundilusa additionally supplies the blades and hubs used in controllable-pitch (CPP) systems.
Are stainless-steel propellers available?
Yes. Fundilusa casts and machines propellers in stainless steel as well as in Class II, I and S bronze, in the same works and under the same ISO 9001 system, so a stainless requirement does not have to be split off to a second supplier.
Is the propeller certified before delivery?
Yes. Every propeller is classified before delivery by a recognised society (ABS, Lloyd's Register, DNV, Bureau Veritas, RINA or Germanischer Lloyd) under Fundilusa's ISO 9001 system, certificate PT006500 issued by Bureau Veritas.
