Machined to the micron.

Every Fundilusa propeller is fully CNC-machined and dynamically balanced, the standard the marine industry has trusted since 1989.

Factories

Two foundries. One standard.

Fundilusa operates from two fully-equipped foundries: the historic plant in Campos VNC, Portugal, and our facility in Tanger, Morocco. Both combine craftsmanship, robotics and CNC machining under one demanding quality system.

FAQ

Answers for owners & shipyards.

The essentials on what Fundilusa casts, machines and certifies, straight to the point.

What does Fundilusa manufacture?
Fundilusa is a Portuguese foundry that manufactures fixed-pitch marine propellers, blades, hubs and components in bronze and stainless steel. Finished propellers reach up to 15 tons and 5.5 metres in diameter, fully CNC machined, for FPP and CPP systems.
How large a propeller can Fundilusa cast?
Fundilusa casts and machines monobloc propellers of up to 15 tons with diameters up to 5.5 metres, in Class II, I and S. It also produces propeller blades up to 8 tons and hubs and components up to 9 tons.
Does Fundilusa cast stainless steel as well as bronze?
Yes. Alongside Class II, I and S bronze, Fundilusa casts and machines propellers, blades and components in stainless steel. Both materials come from the same foundry, under the same ISO 9001 system, so a single supplier can cover a bronze and a stainless requirement without splitting the order.
Is Fundilusa certified?
Yes. Fundilusa has operated under the ISO 9001 quality system since 1999, certificate PT006500 issued by Bureau Veritas, and every product is classified by the main classification societies before delivery, including ABS, Lloyd's Register, DNV, Bureau Veritas and RINA.
Where are Fundilusa's factories?
Fundilusa operates two foundries: its headquarters in Campos VNC, Portugal, and a facility in Tanger, Morocco (Fundimaroc), on the Strait of Gibraltar. Together they cover 11,030 m² of workshop.
How much does Fundilusa produce in a year?
In 2025 the group produced 965 propellers, 858 blades and 153 hubs, caps and other components, totalling 1,786 tons of finished castings, from 11,030 m² of workshop across the two foundries.
